  • Tong Test Stand

Use for Testing & Training Personnel

Texas International Oilfield Tools (TIOT) offers a free standing test stand for testing of hydraulic casing and tubing power tongs. The test stand is designed to resist torque applied by a power tong through a test mandrel.
The test stand is an air operated device that utilizes a hydraulic active dual spring disc brake chamber in order to apply friction force (“brake” action) to the rotating (or stationary) test mandrel mechanism.
The power tong is tested by applying torque to the test stand’s mandrel. The test stand’s brake is activated by pushing and twisting clockwise the red control box button on the control box. A brake foot pedal is supplied as backup for the mini power unit. Using the control box mounted on the test stand, the black knob regulates pressure.

  • TI Mfg. Deutz Diesel Powered Hydraulic Skid Mounted Power Unit (HPU)

TI Mfg 6 cylinder Deutz Diesel Skid Mounted Hydraulic Power Unit

    Compact Design
Texas International Oilfield Tools (TIOT) offers a Power Unit which operates many types of electrohydraulic equipment. The unit is mounted on a skid for easy transport. On the power unit, a diesel engine drives the dual stage pump at a setting of 2100 rpm.
The pump draws hydraulic fluid from the tank and delivers hydraulic fluid up to 2500 psi on the pressure line, adjustable at the relief valve (preset at 2500 psi).
The 2500 psi setting is the maximum recommended output pressure for the standard pump.
Theoretically the unit could produce more at full engine rated output, but pump life will be shortened, possibly dramatically. The pump delivers 65 GPM at 1000 psi and 27 GPM at the engine’s maximum speed of 2500 psi. See the Adjustment section on page 16 for how to change the relief valve setting.

  • Type “T” Safety Clamps

safety clamps for tubing (T) and casing (C).

Multipurpose (MP) safety clamps are adjustable to a variety of tubular. The clamp has its own box with a nut wrench and an allen wrench.
Manual clamps are equipped with screw and nut combination. The nut secures the clamp around the pipe and should be tightened with the supplied nut wrench.
The clamp grips uniformly by design. The individual links give the clamp flexibility to wrap around the pipe and the inserts are spring loaded.

  • 350 Ton Link Extensions

offers 350 Ton Links and Link Extensions

Texas International Oilfield Tools (TIOT) offers 350 Ton Links and Link Extensions, which are used to Hang Elevators.

  • STARR 9-7/8″ Hydraulic Power Tong

Rated Torque of 40,000 or 60,000 ft-lb for Everyday Use.

  • Wireline Unit – Retriever/Surveyor

    wirelines and slicklines Device

In the oil and gas industry, the term wireline usually refers to a cabling technology used by operators of oil and gas wells to lower equipment or measurement devices into the well for the purposes of well intervention, reservoir evaluation, and pipe recovery. Tools inserted into the well for both workover and logging efforts, wirelines and slicklines are very similar devices.

  • Varco® Style FMS 375

    Flush Mounted Spider – FMS375

The FMS 375 is mounted flush with the rig floor, allowing the casing connection height to be lowered 1 meter (3 feet), thus eliminating the need for scaffolding. The rig crew also has more room to work by removing the spider body from the top of the rig floor. The units are designed to fit into 37-1/2″ and 49-1/2″ (FMS 375) rotary tables.

  • 350 Ton Elevator Spider

    250 and 350 ton elevator/ spider

The purpose of the 250 and 350 ton elevator/ spider is to grip and lift API sized pipe vertically. It shall be configured either as an elevator hoisted by industry standard links or as a spider mounted on the rig floor or rotary table. As a spider, the unit is dressed with a top guide to aid centering the tubular string and adapter plate used to secure the tool onto a rotary table. As an elevator, the unit uses a bell guide, bottom and door guide.

  • McCoy KT13625 Casing Power Tong
